Ten-year-old Amata (Manao) Masmalai was cast in the lead role of LEK after an exhaustive nationwide search, and hundreds of auditions. Despite her young age, Manao is no stranger to performing, having been (among other things) the face of “Milo” Thailand, and appearing in both the 2023 film “Way of Us” and the “Fantasy” music video. LEK is Manao’s first leading role in a feature film
