Paul Spurrier

Paul Spurrier was born in the United Kingdom, He was a well-known child actor who appeared alongside such stars as Richard Burton, Richard Harris, and Roger Moore.

After graduating from the London Film School, he directed his first feature film 'Underground', which represented iconic British film culture at the famous 'Sensations' exhibition.

After discovering Thailand he made 'P', the first ever western film-maker to direct a Thai language feature film. With his subsequent film 'The Forest', he became the first ever non-Asia born film-maker to receive the international NETPAC award for Asian film-makers.

'Eullenia' was selected as the opening film of the 2018 Bangkok ASEAN Film Festival, and is available on streaming platforms worldwide.

‘The Maestro’ premiered at the Oldenburg Film Festival, where it took home the Award for Creative Spirit and Vision.

He remains one of the few European directors dedicated to bridging the cultural gap between East and West.
